Enjoying DTV broadcasts
Parental Rating option
You can choose from the following options to block TV programmes:
Rating
Description
No Block
All programmes can be watched without any age limitation
(default)
Block All
All programmes are blocked
G
General and above: For general audiences. Not specifically
designed for children but all ages are allowed.
PG
Parental Guidance and above: Some material may not be
suitable for children. Parental guidance suggested.
M
Mature and above: Mature audience 15+. Programmes are
blocked for children under 15.
MA
Mature Adult and above: Specifically designed for adults. Some
material may be inappropriate for children under 15.
AV
Adult Violence and above: Programmes are blocked for children
under 15 as these programmes contain strong violent content
R
Restricted and above: Programmes contain inappropriate
content for children under 18
Note
• You can select "Digital Tuner Setup" only when watching DTV channels.
• The Parental Control setup becomes effective the first time you tune in a TV
channel after entering the settings.
• When you select any Parental Control options other than "No Block", the
password entry screen appears depending on the programme received. Enter
your four-digit password using buttons 0 to 9 (see page 44).
• When you select "No Block", Parental Control does not function in any way.

Use the following procedure to change the sequence of the preset DTV channels.

Setting Time Zone

Use this function to display the correct time when the "InfoBanner" (page 35)
appears on the screen. Designate the correct city or region you live in, otherwise
incorrect time displays.

Screen Saver

The screen saver automatically starts when no operation is performed for three
minutes while receiving DTV radio channels.
Note
• While the screen saver is active, you can perform the following operations:
• Press TV/DTV to switch to analogue TV.
• Press any other button to switch to the normal radio channel screen.
