ABB recommends to allow a stabilization period of 4 hours prior to using the
Spectrometer.

Make sure the power switch on the power supply is OFF then connect the
power supply cable to the spectrometer. Make sure to properly lock the
connector to the spectrometer.
Connect the power cable to the power supply and to the wall outlet.
Power up the analyzer. Set the ON/OFF power switch located on the external
power supply to ON. When Start-Up LED sequence is completed, the
instrument is ready.
Remove desiccant from sample compartment.
Perform the Auto Calibration procedure. Refer to
Table 3- 2. Led Description
