Replacing the Module

GA932 module can be only replaced while the power is off.
Before replacing, make sure to turn off the power of G3 I/O Basic unit,
expansion unit and external power of the I/O module.
Upon replacement, note the following.
• Make sure that the replaced module is the same model.
• Set the switches the operation mode setting switches (4-bit DIP switches)
and Node setting switch (Rotary switch) to be the same as the module
before replacement.
• After installing the module, set the maintenance switch to the lower side
(RUN) and turn on the power.

Before touching the module or inserting or
removing the expansion cable, wear a wrist
strap and white cotton gloves. Ground the
wrist strap to remove static electricity.
Otherwise, it may cause damage or failure of the
module.
When placing the module during
replacement, use a conductive mat.
Ground the conductive mat.
Otherwise, it may cause damage or failure of the
module.
Before replacing GA932 module, turn off
the power of G3 I/O basic, expansion unit
and the external power of I/O module.
Otherwise, it may cause damage or failure of the
module.
