The internal overload monitoring function of the power module only protects the cable if this
is dimensioned/selected corresponding to the power module currents. Cables with an
excessively low cross-section can overheat and result in fire and smoke.
• Always use cables with adequate cross-sections.
• If you select lower cross-sections, then you must ensure the appropriate level of cable
