This section shows the wiring for a USB connector.
Wiring equipment
The following shows the equipment for wiring.
■USB cable
Use the USB cable included with the connection equipment.
Precautions
Cables with a Type A connector can connect this product.
Wiring procedure
The following shows the procedure for wiring USB connectors.
■Connection of USB cables
While paying attention to the connector orientation, insert the USB cable into the USB connector.
After connecting the cable, take measures to prevent its removal. ( Page 167 Prevention of cable
removal)
■Removal of USB cables
Pull out the USB cable.
Precautions
• When not connecting a USB cable, use the attached cover to prevent ingress of dust and dirt.
• Place connected devices within a control panel.
• When connecting devices to the product, it is recommended that the same power supply be used.
• If the power plug of the device to connect is a three-pin, or has an earth cable in either the plug or on the device itself, then
ensure that a plug incorporating an earth is used, or that a class D type grounding (3rd class grounding) be used.
• When connecting self-powered devices, install using the following procedure.
1: Check that the power supply plug of the connected device is removed from the AC socket.
2: Connect a USB cable, connect the device to this product.
3: Insert the power supply plug of the connected device into the AC socket.
