Important:
Disconnect the machine from the electricity supply
by removing the plug from the mains socket.
When cleaning the machine, it must always be
disconnected from the electricity supply.
Removing the stitch plate (A)
Turn the hand wheel (21) until the needle is fully
raised. Open the hinged front cover and remove the
stitch plate (8) screws with the L-screwdriver (k).
Cleaning the feed dog (B)
Remove the bobbin case and use the brush (n)
supplied to clean the whole area.
Cleaning and lubricating the catch (C-G)
Remove the bobbin case. Snap the two catch
retaining arms (C) outwards. Remove the shuttle
race cover (D) and the catch (E) and clean with a soft
cloth. Lubricate at the points indicated (F) (1-2 drops)
using sewing machine oil. Turn the handwheel until
the shuttle race (G) is in the left position. Replace the
catch (E). Replace the shuttle race cover and snap
back the two catch retaining arms. Insert the bobbin
case and bobbin and replace the stitch plate.

provided. Store the sewing machine in a dry location
which children cannot access. If the sewing machine
