Topology of the pipe system
The pipe system can have different topologies.
The choice of topology depends on the following factors:
Size of the coverage area
– When using aspirating smoke detector FDA221: up to max. 500 m²
– When using aspirating smoke detector FDA241: up to max. 800 m²
Geometry of the coverage area (e.g., shape of room, projections on the wall,
false ceilings)
