Changes of direction in the pipe system
Whenever the airflow changes direction, losses and deceleration occur. There is
an increase in the overall resistance to flow. Therefore, you should use as few
branches and bends as possible.
Reduce the number of branches and bends to a minimum.
Check that the permissible piping lengths have been observed.
Use the 'FXS2056 ASD Asyst Tool V2' software to calculate the details of the pipe
system.
