Press the F or f button to move the cursor to "System
Settings," and press the g button.
The System Settings screen appears.

Press the F or f button to move the cursor to the
desired setting item, and press the g button.
You can now make settings for the respective items.
Network Setting
You can specify the IP address, subnet mask, gateway
address, and other network settings.
For details, refer to "Setting the IP Address"
described in the "Setup Manual" section of this
document.
Note
If network settings are changed by mistake to
unsuitable values, the unit will no longer be accessible
via the network. Network settings should only be
changed by the system administrator. If settings need
to be changed, contact your Sony dealer.
LCD BackLight
Controls operation of the display backlight.
Press the F or f button to move the cursor to the
desired setting.

Menu Operation
Setting
Description
OFF
Backlight is always off.
ON
Backlight is always on.
AUTO
Backlight is turned on when any button
is operated, and is turned off
automatically when no button has been
operated for about 20 seconds. (Factory
default setting)
LCD Brightness
A value indicating the current LCD panel brightness
setting is shown on the menu screen. The brightness
setting range is 1 - 20.
Pressing the F button increases the value and makes
the LCD panel brighter.
Pressing the f button decreases the value and makes
the LCD panel darker.
LCD Contrast
A value indicating the current LCD panel contrast
setting is shown on the menu screen. The contrast
setting range is 1 - 20.
Pressing the F button increases the value and
increases the contrast of the LCD panel.
Pressing the f button decreases the value and
decreases the contrast of the LCD panel.
If you press the F or f button to select the AUTO
setting, the display contrast is automatically adjusted
according to the ambient temperature.
