6. Disconnect and remove Forward/Reverse switch. See Forward/Reverse Switch Removal on
page 4-11.
7. Gasoline Vehicles:
NOTE: To remove the rear body, the choke button assembly does not have to be removed from the body.
However, adjustment of the choke positioner may be necessary after the rear body is reinstalled.
8. Remove two bolts, washers and nylon lock nuts from rear fenders at frame locations (Figure 4-15,
Page 4-11).
9. Lift rear body and fenders from the vehicle.

Forward/Reverse Switch Removal
1. Electric vehicles:
1.1. Disconnect the four-pin connector (12) and the three-pin connector (13) from the Forward/Reverse
switch (Figure 4-16, Page 4-12).
