9.3 Pulled beef

For 4-6 people
Ingredients:
1.2 kg beef joint
2 onions
180 ml warm beef stock
1-2 tbsp barbecue or steak seasoning
Salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar and a little honey
Method:
Rinse the joint off in cold water and pat dry with kitchen roll. Then rub the seasoning into the joint.
Peel the onions and cut into fine rings. Then spread the onions over the base of the ceramic pan (4) and
cover with the warm beef stock.
Put the joint in the ceramic pan (4) and sprinkle a few drops of balsamic vinegar over the meat.
Close the lid (2) and cook for 5-6 hours on HIGH.
Then tear the meat into small pieces using two forks. Season with salt, pepper and honey to taste.

9.4 Asian orange chicken

For 4 people
Ingredients:
3 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 teaspoons corn starch or cornflour
2 teaspoons cooking oil
1 teaspoons rice vinegar or light balsamic vinegar
3 teaspoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
150 grams orange marmalade
4 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick of lemon grass
A little ground pepper
2 teaspoons unpeeled sesame
1 red chilli
