You can check the
elongation of the chain
based on the state of the
tension lever (X) of the
chain tensioner. The tension
lever (X) moves down as
the chain length increases,
from top (new/short chain)
to bottom (elongated
chain). The chain must be
shortened once the tension
lever (X) is in the lowest
position.
As an alternative, mount a
proximity switch to query
the lowest position of the
tension lever (X).
• SH 2/UV switch bracket,
3 842 168 600.
• Proximity switch,
3 842 537 995.
