3. When the server is pushed into the rack and
is locked, push the server to the end while
pulling the rail stopper (blue) on both sides
of the server.
4. Push the server until its lock on front panel
clicks.
(2) Removal procedure
Remove the server from the rack in the following procedure.
1. Make sure that the server is turned off and then disconnect the power cord or all interface cables from
the server.
2. Release the key lock.
3. Firmly hold the left side of front
bezel (when viewed from the front
side), and pull the right side of it
forward about 10 cm. Confirm that
left side of front bezel is unlocked,
and then pull the left side forward to
remove the front bezel from
chassis.
4. Slowly pull the server out while
pressing the buttons located on
both sides of the front of the server.
Important
At least two persons are required to remove the server from rack.
