System features
The LaboStar 7 TWF DI and UV systems are designed to cost-effectively produce analytical grade ultrapure
water from normal tap water.. By continuously circulating the ultrapure water, the device ensures that the
product water is of a consistent high quality. The ultrapure water is collected via the dispenser at the front of
the device at a rate of 1.2 liters per minute.

Typical features of the water are:

TOC (Total Organic Carbon) content below 10 ppb, (< 5 ppb for the UV version),
•
Less than 1 CFU/ml bacteria,
•
Less than 1 particle/ml larger than 0.2 µm,
•
0.055 µS/cm cm conductivity (18.2 M -cm resistivity),
•
< 0.001 EU/ml endotoxins (when SG ultrafilters are used).

The conductivity and temperature values are measured continually and displayed in real-time on the monitor.
The monitor also provides information in the form of warnings and error messages related to potential
problems with the system.

All LaboStar series system components are installed in a compact plastic housing that can either be placed
on a bench or mounted on a wall. The front panel can be opened easily for access to the modules when it is
time to replace them.
