The symbol M is for checking whether you install the washer dryer correctly.

Removing the transport bolts
M Remove the four transport bolts using the spanner (P. 3; Packed-In Accessories). After that, insert the
cover caps at these positions.
M The transport bolts must always be removed before using the washer dryer for the first time and must
be retained for any subsequent transport (e.g. when moving).
* Wear gloves before removing the transport bolts to prevent injury.
Do not remove these hose holders.
