9-30 Upgrading Your Server
Reset of Hard Disk Drive
Reset the management information on the replaced hard disk drive in the following procedure.
1.
Select [Settings] – [Control Panel] – [NEC ESMPRO Agent] from the [Start] menu.
[NEC ESMPRO Agent Ver.XXX Properties] is started.
2.
Click on the [General] tab in [NEC ESMPRO Agent Ver.XXX Properties].
3.
Select [Storage Setting...] in the [General] tab.
[Storage] is started.
4.
Click on the [Reset] tab in [Storage].
5.
After selecting the replaced hard disk drive in [Hard disk list], click on [OK].
The management information on the replaced hard disk drive is reset.
6.
Close the dialog box.
7.
Close [NEC ESMPRO Agent Ver.XXX Properties].
