Notes on Using Your Tape Blade
– Any data cartridge cannot be used as the system disk.
This may cause the OS to be started unsuccessfully and/or the data in the data cartridge
to be broken.
– Do not disassemble data cartridges.
This may cause the data stored in the data cartridge to be broken. Inserting a data
cartridge having been disassembled into the Tape Blade may cause the Tape Blade to
be defected.
– Do not bring a substance which generates magnetism close to data cartridges.
This cause the data stored in the data cartridges may be broken.
Mezzanine card and other electronic components
These components are extremely sensitive to static electricity. Make sure to touch the
metal frame of the chassis to discharge static electricity from your body before
handling the components. Do not touch the terminals or parts on the components by a
bare hand and place the components directly on the desk.
Make sure that the options are optional devices for the purchased Tape Blade. If an
option can be installed or connected to the Tape Blade, the option may not operate
properly and further the Tape Blade itself may be defected.
The internal option device contains precision component that is easily affected by
drastic temperature change. If the device is used after storage or relocation, make sure
that the device is fully adapted to the operating environment.
Do not use a cellular phone or pager around the Tape Blade.
Turn off the cellular phone or pager. Radio interference may cause malfunctions of the
Tape Blade.
