Configuring Your Tape Blade
SAS CONTROLLER
SAS Controller Configurations
This product's configuration is optimized at factory shipment. Normally, reconfiguration is not
necessary, however, if necessary, you can reconfigure this product by using its utility.
Refer to "SAS BIOS - SAS Configuration Utility - " for the details of the SAS Configuration Utility.
NOTE: After installing this product, the system cannot be booted
from USB CD-ROM drive. Please change the setting of SAS BIOS
referring to "About SAS Configuration Utility".
Install the Driver
This section explains how to install SAS driver of Windows.
1.
Boot the system and log in Administrator.
2.
Insert the CD-ROM labeled "N8404-002 Tape Blade AT101a Driver CD" into the
CD-ROM drive and use an appropriate tool such as Explorer to double-click
\win\hba_drv\update.vbs.
3.
The following message appears. Select [Yes].
4.
Driver is automatically updated. After the driver was updated, the restart request screen
appears. Restart the system.
The installation of the driver is completed.
