Adjustment
WARNING
•
Select the I.I. survey format.
•
Center the dose measurement chamber on the I.I. input screen.
•
Select "Dose rate adjustment" on the service PC.
•
Click on "Update Start".
The following operating modes will be automatically selected:
- kV/mA curve S2 (Antiisowatt 5mA)
- Manual kV fine adjustment (to increase the accuracy of adjustment)

Release fluoro.
•
Activate dose rate control.
•
Switch fluoro off.
•
Select KV stop.
•
Install the dose measurement chamber on the I.I. input.
•
Release fluoro.
•
Using the KV+ and KV- keys, set the dose rate to 330 nGy/s +/- 5% (Dose rate* grid
factor). This should produce a kV value of from 70 kV to 80 kV. If necessary, switch off
fluoro and change the prefiltration. After changing the prefiltration, set the dose rate
again.
•
Switch fluoro off.
•
Remove the dose measurement chamber from the I.I. input.
•
Switch fluoro on.
•
Press the >0< key on the operating console of the SIREMOBIL Compact. This starts the
automatic adjustment of the TV-Iris collimator.
•
Wait until the message "done" is displayed in the "AUTO REGULATION" line (Service
PC). The new TV-Iris position values will be stored in the Host RAM.
•
The "BRIGHTNESS DEVIATION" value will be displayed in the "BRIGHTNESS
DEVIATION" line and should not deviate by more than +/- 3.
•
Switch fluoro off.
•
Click on "Update Stop" on the service PC and wait until the "CAL" message disappears
on the 7-segment display to the right. This stores the TV-Iris position value in the Host
EEPPROM.
•
Close the "Monitoring" window on the service PC by clicking on the "cancel" button.
