7.3 EMC-compliant drive installation
7.3.1

General

For information about EMC requirements, see EN 61800-3, EN 60439-1, and the
recommendations in EN 60204-1. When components are installed in cabinets, the following
aspects must also be taken into account to ensure compliance with the EMC Directive:
• Use of recommended power and signal cables
• Observance of information about cable shielding and equipotential bonding
7.3.2

EMC planning

The Basic Line Module infeeds when combined with the appropriate line reactor comply with
the interference emission limits stipulated in EN 61800-3 for the second environment
(industrial).
