1. POWER SUPPLY UNIT

SPEC.
1. Extend the Syscon (F6) board with extension
board.
2. Turn ON the power switch, and set to "EJECT"
mode.
3. Connect Digital Voltmeter to TP6 on the
extension board, and adjust VR1201 so that the
DC voltage is in the specification.
<Note>
1. The VR1102 is for factory use only.
2. TP6 is described as "+5V" on the extension board
(VFK1192). But this line is used for +3.2V in this
model.

Set "070 TV SYSTEM" of the Setup Menu to "525".

1. Open the SERVICE MENU. (Refer to SEC1
Service Information.)
2. Select the A00: SERVO ADJUST and press the
"SET" button to open the SERVO ADJUST
MENU.
3. Select the A01 FG DC ADJ, and Press the
"Search" button continuously until "OK" sign is
displayed on the right side of A01 FG DC ADJ. (It
takes 5-10
adjustment, the reel motor and brake solenoid
are moving.)
4. Close the menu.
<Note>
1. When "NG" sign is displayed or becoming the
"AUTO OFF", do not insert the tape. Check the
mechanism condition and servo circuit.
2. When the parts of mechanism is disassembled
and assembled, implement this adjustment
before inserting a cassette tape.
3. When repairing or changing the mechanism
(Capstan/Reel), Servo (F7) board, or Syscon (F6)
board, implement this adjustment.
