<<DV ADJUST>>
1. Open B00 RF ADJUST in the Service Menu.
2. Open R00 DV ADJUST in the Service Menu.
3. Open R-3 RP ADJUST in the Service Menu.
<RPL Envelope MAX Tracking Adjustment>
1. Playback the DV Color bar Master Tape.
2. Confirm that R66: MONI KINDSEL is set to ENV.
3. Confirm that R67: MONI CHSEL is set to RPL.
4. Set the R71: TRACKING to MOD-AUTO_L.
5. Press STOP and then PLAY button.
6. Wait unit Envelope level become maximum.
7. Adjust R72: TRACKING VAL slightly so that
Envelope level become Maximum.
<RPL Phase Compensation Adjustment>
1. Playback the DV Colorbar Master Alignment
Tape.
2. Set the R60: VITERBI MODE to off.
3. Set the R62: AEQ MODE to off.
4. Adjust R01: PHS L1 and R02: PHS L2 so that
the error rate is at the minimum level.
5. Press the SET button.
(Reference)
In case error rate is difficult to check because LED
light on more than 15pcs, set the R60: VITERBI
MODE to AUTO to adjust it.
<Confirmation of error rate>
1. Set the R60: VITERBI MODE to AUTO.
2. Set the R62: AEQ MODE to ON.
3. Set the R70: ERROR MODE to SLOW.
4. Confirm that Error rate of Video & Audio meets
the SPEC..(Refer to page ELE-18.)
5. If it is out of SPEC., adjust the error rate again.
<AEQ Tap Coefficient (RPL) Setting>
1. Confirm that the R60: VITERBI MODE is set to
AUTO.
2. Confirm that the R62: AEQ MODE is set to ON.
3. Set the R71: TRACKING to MOD-AUTO_ L.
4. Set the R67: MONICHSEL is set to OFF. AEQ
Tape Coefficient Setting can not be excuted if this
menu is not set to OFF.
5. Select R53: IC READ and change the setting
from "OFF" to "SINGLE".
6. Press the SET button so that the value of R29-40
is automatically set. (Confirm that the value of
R29-40 is changed from default value)
7. Change the setting of R53: IC READ from
"SINGLE" to "OFF" and press the "SET"
button.
<RPR Envelope MAX Tracking Adjustment>
1. Playback the DV Color bar Master Tape.
2. Confirm that R66: MONI KINDSEL is set to ENV.
3. Confirm that R67: MONI CHSEL is set to RPR.
4. Set the R71: TRACKING to MOD-AUTO_ R.
5. Press STOP and then PLAY button.
6. Wait until Envelope level become maximum.
7. Adjust R72: TRACKING VAL slightly so that
Envelope level become Maximun.

"SINGLE" to "OFF" and press the "SET"
button.
