Installing the O-ring and
the Grease Fitting
Parts needed for this procedure:
1 O-ring
1 Grease fitting
Procedure
The grease fitting must be installed on the reel motor
side of the verticutter. Use the following diagram to
determine the position of each reel motor
1. Verticutter 1
2. Verticutter 2
3. Verticutter 3
4. Verticutter 4
1. Remove and discard the setscrew on the
reel-motor side plate

2. Straight grease fitting

2. Install the straight grease fitting
3. For verticutter 2 and verticutter 4 locations
(Figure 4), move the end weight to the opposite
side of the cutting unit.
4. If there are no bolts on the reel-motor side plate,
