Auto Shut-Down (Idling Stop)

WARNING: This function automatically stops
the engine. Take extra care on the work and work
environment when using this function.
When pressing auto shut-down (idling stop) switch (1), the
auto idling stop function is ON and auto shut-down (idling
stop) indicator (2) lights.
When the auto idling stop function is ON (enabled), the engine
automatically stops after the preset time from the state in
which the following conditions are met: The parking brake
switch is turned ON, the forward/reverse lever (switch) is set in
neutral (N) position, and the brake pedal or accelerator pedal
is not depressed. (Refer to the descriptions in the next page
for the detail operating condition.) 30 seconds before the
engine stop, the buzzer sounds. The buzzer sounds once at 30
seconds before, intermittently sounds from 15 seconds, and
then stops after 15 seconds. The auto idling stop is disabled
and the engine will not stop if any of the following conditions
are met: The parking brake switch is set in OFF position, the
forward/reverse lever (switch) is set in (F) or (R) position, or the
brake pedal or the accelerator pedal is depressed to release it.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the ON or OFF status of auto shut-
down (idling stop) indicator (2). If the indicator is ON,
the auto idling stop function will be activated.
