Powering on, powering off, and restarting

Powering on
Press and hold the side button to power on the device.
•
Charge the device.
•
Powering off
Press the side button, and go to Settings > System & updates > Power off.
•
When the screen is on, press and hold the side button to display the Restart and Power off
•
options, and touch the Power off option.
The device will automatically power off when the battery is drained. Charge the device
in a timely manner.
Restarting
Press the side button, and go to Settings > System & updates > Restart.

When the screen is on, press and hold the side button to display the Restart and Power off
•
options, and touch the Restart option.
Press and hold the side button for more than 12 seconds to forcibly restart your device.

Charging

Charging
Connect the metal contacts on the charging cradle to those on the back of your device, place
them on a flat surface, and connect the charging cradle to a power supply. The screen will
turn on and display the battery level.
