@ Station numbers recorded in the station memory
can be given names using up to 9 characters.
Example: To record the name "BBC" for the station
recorded in memory position 24.
1. Press the FM/AM/Station button to select
the station display.

position you wish to name.

6. Press the CHARACTER button to select the
type of character (each time the button is —
pressed, the character mode changes in the
sequence shown):
[* A-Z (upper case) — a-z (lower case)

7. Use the CANCEL and SET buttons to move
the cursor to the desired character position.

moves to the left.

8. Use the E4, Ed] buttons to select character
"B."
