Timer functions cannot be used if the current time has
not been properly set on the clock. (= P. 15)
WAKE-UP TIMER
First of all...
Prepare the source you wish to play.
CD: Load the desired disc.
Tuner: Tune the receiver to the desired broadcast
station. The station received when the
timer is set will be turned on by the timer.
Tape: Load the desired playback cassette tape.
MD: Load the desired disc.
Adjust the volume as desired
This will be the volume used when the timer turns
the component on.
Example: Using the timer to play back a CD from 6:30
to 8:00 A.M.
1. Select the CD function.
2. Press the CHARACTER/timer button on the
display unit.

3. Use the [Eq], Ee] buttons to select "WAKE-
UP"

5. Set the timer start time (hour).
Use the fa. Ee] buttons to set the desired hour,
then press the SET button.

6. Set the timer start time (minutes).
Usethe f=]. Pr] buttons to set the desired minutes,
then press the SET button.

The display will automatically change to show the
time one hour after the set starting time.
