You can search for an FM broadcast of a desired pro-
gram type (PTY).
1. Select FM with the FM/AM/STATION
button.

tomatically received. If more than one station of the
same program type is found, they are received one
after the other for 6 seconds each, starting with any
presets. When the station you want is received,
press the SET button. Search stops, and reception
of that station continues.
NOTES:
@ When a broadcast of the selected program type can-
not be found, search continues until the SET but-
ton is pressed.
@ When an AM frequency is recorded among the
memorized station positions, that frequency will be
skipped and the search will continue.
