Beep Tones
Audible confirmation of microprosessor functions is
provided in the form of a series of audio beeps. The
output level of the ''Beeper'' is adjustable with a vari-
able resistor located inside the set. (Please refer to
Section 6-6-5.)
5. Select the desired operating frequency.When a sig-
nal is received, the BUSY indicator will turn on and
the S-meter will deflect.
6. To turn off the transceiver, turn off the trans-
ceiver's POWER
switch before you turn off the
power supply, or if in a vehicle, before you stop the
engine.

Audible Mode Announcement
When a2 Mode key is pressed, the first character of
the mode is sounded in Morse code thru the speaker.
