@ MC-48B AUTOPATCH UP/DOWN HAND
MICROPHONE (8-pin)
The MC-48B is 16-key autopatch UP/DOWN micro-
phones with PTT switch. Encodes 16 autopatch
tones. UP/DOWN switches provide step frequency
change, or initiate band scan in the appropriate direc-
tion, if held depressed momentarily.

Fixed Station
Various types of fixed station antennas are commer-
cially available. Select your antenna according to avail-
able space and intended application. Transceiver
performance depends largely on the type of antenna
used. For fixed station operation there are ground
plane antennas (omnidirectional) and Yagi antennas
(unidirectional). The Yagi antenna is suitable for DX
(Long distance) operation or communication with a
specific party.
