AlertType — Sets your phone to make no sound when you receive Private and Group calls. To
set your phone to vibrate instead of making a sound when you receive Private and Group calls,
even if you want your phone to ring for other features:
1.
From the Home screen, select Start > Settings >Notifications > PTT > Vibrate.
Press the Ok button to change.
Send — Enables sending or receiving pictures during private calls. Select method to send.
Voice Volume Features
The Volume volume screen sets the volume coming out of your phones earpiece and speaker:

From the Home screen, select Start > Settings >Voice Volume > Earpiece (or Speaker)
> OK.
Security Features
The Security menu lets you turn security features on and off and change passwords:
Phone Lock — turns on a feature that locks your phone, either immediately or automatically
after a set period of inactivity. An unlock code is required to enable this feature, to unlock the
phone, and to set a new Unlock code. Contact your service provider for your default unlock
code.
Keypad Lock— locks the phone's keypad, either immediately or automatically after a set
period of inactivity. To lock the keypad:

On the Home screen, press and hold
2.
SIMPIN— enables and disables your phone's SIM PIN security feature. When the SIM
PIN requirement is on, you are prompted to enter your PIN each time you turn on your
phone.
Note: If a SIM PIN is required, your phone will not function until the SIM PIN is entered,
except for making emergency calls. When the PIN requirement is off, your phone can be
used without entering a PIN.
Important: When the SIM PIN requirement is off, the personal data on your SIM card is
not protected. Anyone can use your phone and access your personal data.

From the main menu, select Settings > Security > Enable SIM PIN.
GPS LOCK — enables and disables your phone's GPS Lock security feature. To turn the GPS
Enabled security feature on or off:
1.
From the main menu, select Settings > Security > Enable GPS Lock.
Note: When you receive your phone, your GPS PIN is 0000.
2.
Press the Ok button.
Change Password — changes your phone unlock code, security code SIM PIN, and GPS
LOCK.
