Hinge Mechanism

7.19.1 Remove:
Required Tools: Sharp scribe or similar, Torx Driver, T6 Bit.
Preparation: Hinge Cap is re-usable. Hinge Button is not re-usable. Replace with new only.
1. Insert scribe onto edge of Hinge Cap and push to seat scribe (See Figure 7-22).
2. Wedge out Hinge Cap from its seat.
3. Insert scribe below edge of Hinge button (See Figure 7-23).
4. Wedge out button from its seat without damage to pivot housing.
