Light Guide

7.18.1 Remove:
Tools Required: Black stick, tweezers.
Preparation: Remove Keypad Board.
1. Note position the Light Guide was in before removal: The smaller curved extension fits inside
the Light Guide seat. The chiseled end is up, outside the seat (see Figure 7-18).
2. Insert pointed tip of Black stick into slot just below Light Guide (See Figure 7-19).
3. Gently push and leverage the Light Guide to start release of adhesive.
4. Continue leveraging until Light Guide is free or can be lifted out with tweezers.
7.18.2 Install:
Tools Required: Black stick, tweezers.
Preparation: Tools Required: Black stick, tweezers
1. Position the smaller curved portion of the Light Guide into the light Guide seat. The chiseled
end is outside the seat and facing the outside of the housing (See Figure 7-18 and 7-20).
2. Gently press around the perimeter of the Light Guide frame to seat fully (See Figure 7-20).
