5. Ensure that the keylock switch is in the Normal position.
When the Docking Status LED light is steady yellow, the NEC Versa
Dock is ready for motorized docking.

Docking the NEC Versa

You can dock the NEC Versa in one of the following modes (for use
with dual boot systems, see "Dual Booting"):
!
Cold Docking — with NEC Versa system power off. This method
works for all NEC Versa models that support docking.
!
Warm Docking — with NEC Versa power on, the system in Suspend
mode, and NEC Versa Dock power on. This procedure can be used
with NEC Versa systems with Plug-and-Play operating systems, such
as Windows 95.
