Emergency Undocking

To undock your NEC Versa Dock in the event of a power failure or other
emergency, undock the unit as follows.
1. Turn the keylock switch to the Manual position.
2. Remove the CRT table from the NEC Versa Dock.
3. Release the NEC Versa from the NEC Versa Dock by firmly pulling
the front of the NEC Versa with equal pressure to the right front and
the left front.
4. Continue to pull until the NEC Versa is free from the NEC Versa
Dock.
Keylock switch in the Manual position
Ensure that all cables connected to the sides of the
NEC Versa are disconnected prior to undocking the
system. Also ensure that CD/DVD drives are closed
and that no diskettes or SuperDisks are extending
from the drive.
