The Line In and Line Out ports let you connect the docking
station to another sound system.
The Line In port lets you use another audio system, like a
home stereo, as an input source.
Use a cable to connect to the Line Out port on the other
audio system to the docking station Line In port to record or
play.
The Line Out port lets you use the docking station as an in-
put source for another audio system, like your home stereo.
To play or record from the docking station, use a cable to
connect to the Line In port on the other audio system to the
docking station Line Out port.
To connect a parallel printer, you need a parallel printer ca-
ble with a male 25-pin connector for the docking station
and, for most parallel printers, a Centronics-compatible 36-
pin connector.
Use the following procedure to connect a parallel printer to
the docking station.
Before connecting the printer, make sure that
you set up the printer correctly. Follow the setup in-
structions that come with the printer.
Attach the printer cable to the back of the printer.
