Peripheral Devices
You can connect peripheral devices, like a printer or an external monitor, to
the NEC Docking Station 6000 for use when the NEC Versa is docked.
Ports for connecting devices are found on the back of the docking station.
Before using peripheral devices, make sure the system parameters match the
system configuration set with your NEC Versa setup utility (also called the
ACU). Parameters and configuration files are discussed in Chapter 3,
Setting Up and Using the Software.
External options that you can connect include the following:

External keyboard and mouse
External audio peripherals, including:
Headphone and external speakers
Microphone
External sound sources connected to the Line In or Line Out port
A standard phone cable to let you use the internal NEC Versa modem.
Gaming devices, such as a joy stick.
Parallel devices such as printers
Serial devices such as an external modem
External SCSI devices such as a scanner.
