Module Slots
The processor modules are installed into the unused slots on the processor carrier
boards as needed and all empty slots on both processor carrier boards must have a
terminator installed. See Tables 7-1 and 7-2 and "Processor Configuration
Guidelines" earlier in this chapter for the order of processor placement.

4-Way Configuration

The four-way configuration shown in Figure 7-2 is the minimum standard
configuration shipped and is provided with:

7 Terminators (3 in left carrier and 4 in right carrier)

2 Processor Carrier Boards
Both cache coherency filters are installed on the 4-way configuration. All four
slots on the right processor carrier board require terminations.
