Install the Memory Board

15. Insert the LXr 8500 memory board(s) into the chassis. (See Figure 5-14.)
a. Lift the LCD handle up until it stops.
b. Locate the memory board guides, and insert the board(s) with the
component-side down.
NOTE
You must insert the memory boards into the board guides for
them to engage correctly.
If you are using only one memory board, it can be installed in either
slot, left or right. There is no need for a terminator in the open memory
board slot.
c. Close the memory board latches by pressing them in toward the center
of each board.
