Broadcasting

This function allows you to send the same document to as many as 50 different
locations with just one operation. Once the document is loaded, it is scanned and
stored in memory. The fax numbers you have entered are then automatically dialed in
succession, and the document is transmitted to each location.
• To enter the fax numbers of the receiving machines, you must use Rapid keys, Speed
Dial numbers, or Group keys; no fax numbers can be entered manually.

Place the document face up and
push it gently into the document
feeder tray.

Press the BROADCAST key.
• Adjust the resolution and/or contrast
settings if desired.
Note: Adjust the resolution and contrast
settings after the BROADCAST
key has been pressed.

Dial the numbers of the receiving
units using one or more of the
following methods:
• Press one or more Rapid keys.
• Enter Speed Dial numbers with the
number keys, for example Speed Dial
numbers 01, 02, through to 09.
• Press one or more Group keys.
