Top Cover and LCD Panel

Follow this procedure to remove the top cover and LCD panel from the system.
Remove the file bay device. Remove the keyboard and front cover from the system.

Close the LCD panel and turn the system over.

Locate and remove the screw securing the file bay device (C). Remove the device from the

file bay.
Locate and remove the three screws securing the top cover to the system (A).

Remove the screw just within the file bay (B).
5.
Turn the system over and open the LCD panel.
6.
Disconnect the LCD cable from connector P2 on the main board.
7.
Locate and remove the five screws securing the keyboard heat plate assembly.
8.
Remove the heat plate assembly.
