Description
Enter the IP address of the host where the upgrade file is located. The host must have a TFTP
server installed and running.
For image1 (11a/b/g/ radios) or image2 (DWL-8600 11n radios), enter the path to the directory
where the upgrade file is located. You may enter up to 96 characters.
For image1 (11a/b/g/ radios) or image2 (DWL-8600 11n radios), Enter the name of the
upgrade file. You may enter up to 32 characters, and the file extension ".tar" must be included.
When you upgrade multiple APs, each AP contacts the TFTP server to download the upgrade
file. To prevent the TFTP server from being overloaded, you can limit the number of APs to
be upgraded at a time.
In the Group Size field, enter the number of APs that can be upgraded at the same time. When
one group completes the upgrade, the next group begins the process.
Select the download type. Possible options are:
• All images
• image1 (802.11a/b/g) Image supported for non-11n APs (DWL-x500APs).
• image2 (802.11n) Image supported for 11n APs (DWL-8600AP).
