Web: Configuring Web-Auth on a WLAN
Prerequisites
■
Before enabling Web Authentication on a WLAN, the temporary address
pool must be configured, as described in "Web: Configuring the Global
Address Pool" on page 7-64.
Before enabling the Guest Login option, you must define the Guest User
■
credentials, as described in "Web: Configuring Global Guest Account
Settings" on page 7-66, and register the corresponding credentials on the
RADIUS server.
The Web Authentication screen shown in Figure 7-19 configures Web Authen-
tication on the selected WLAN (BSS/SSID) interface.
You can modify these parameters:
Web Authentication: Enables/disables web authentication on the
■
selected WLAN.

Guest Login: Enables guests clients to authenticate using the username
and password of the preconfigured Guest account.
User Login: Enables registered clients to authenticate using their
■
RADIUS account settings.
■
Redirect URL: Specifies the URL the user will be redirected to when the
web authentication process is successful.
■
Retry Limit: Specifies the number of unsuccessful login attempts before
the user is locked out.
[Update]: Updates the WLAN (BSS/SSID) interface with the selected
■
MAC configuration.
