Web Authentication Commands

The commands described in this section are used to enable and configure Web
Authentication (Web-Auth) in the Access Point 530.

Command Line Reference

Web Authentication Commands

Function
Enables 802.1X authentication
using a Web-browser interface
on the access point.
Specifies the first IP address and
subnet mask that define the pool
of temporary IP addresses used
for initial Web-Auth connections.
Specifies the period in seconds
of the IP lease for the pool of
temporary Web-Auth addresses.
Specifies the username that will
be used for Guest user logins
using Web-Auth.
Specifies the password that will
be used for Guest user logins
using Web-Auth.
Displays the current Web-Auth
settings.
Enables or disables Web-Auth
for Guest users on the selected
WLAN.
Enables or disables Web-Auth
for Registered users on the
selected WLAN.
Specifies the URL the user is
redirected to following
successful Web Authentication.
Specifies the number of failed
login attempts (from 1 to 9) a user
may make before logins are
refused by the access point.
Default is 3 attempts.
