TAPI Adaptor

Guidelines
• The TAPI adaptor acts as an interface between the DBS 576 and the TAPI
• To use the TAPI adaptor, you will need a TAPI Service Provide (SP) software.
• A 9-pin (female) D-SUB RS-232C cable is provided with your TAPI adaptor.
• If your PC is equipped with a 25-pin D-SUB RS232C connector, make the RS-

1. Connect one end of the RS-232C cable to an available serial (Com) port on the

Note:
Connecting the DBS 576 internal line before the phone line may result in operational
errors. Also, be sure the lines are plugged into the appropriate receptacles.
