Connection Set-up: Video-Output

To set the correct Video output option for the component connection (COMPONENT VIDEO, YUV, Y, Cb/Pb, Cr/Pr):
1. Whilst the disc is playing or after you have stopped play by pressing the STOP button, press the SETUP button
on the remote to open the Setup menu.
2. Using the Navigation button ► select the third icon VIDEO SETUP in the top menu bar and press the PLAY/EN-
TER button to display the menu items.
3. Using the Navigation button ▼ select the menu item VIDEO OUTPUT.
4. Then press the Navigation button ►, to select the available options for Video Output.
5. Using the Navigation button ▼ select the YUV Option.
6. Then press the PLAY/ENTER button to activate the setting.
7. Press the SETUP button to exit the Setup menu.

SCART CONNECTION (SCART Socket)

The machine has a SCART CONNECTION (SCART Socket). If you opt to use this connection type, you do not need
to set up an additional audio connection between the device and the connected television. The SCART Connection
transmits pictures (Video Signal) as well as stereo sound (audio signal).

Connection Set-up: Audio- and Video-Signal transmission

For transmission of pictures and sound (Audio- and Video-Signal) simply connect the SCART socket of a television
using a SCART cable, directly to the SCART output (SCART OUTPUT) of the device.
Connection Set-up: Video Output
To set the correct option for the video output for the SCART Connection:
1. Whilst the disc is playing or after you have stopped play by pressing the STOP button, press the SETUP button
on the remote to open the Setup menu.
2. Using the Navigation button ► select the third icon VIDEO SETUP in the top menu bar and press the PLAY/EN-
TER button to display the menu items.
3. Using the Navigation button ▼ select the menu item VIDEO OUTPUT.
4. Then press the Navigation button ►, to select the available options for Video Output.
5. Using the Navigation button ▼ select the RGB Option.
6. Then press the PLAY/ENTER button to activate the setting.
7. Press the SETUP button to exit the Setup menu.

Eliminate picture interference after connecting a television

PROGRESSIVE or INTERLACE: Set the TV signal scanning type

Regardless of whether you have connected a television with PROGRESSIVE or INTERLACE scanning to the machine,
you must also set the correct TV Mode option (TV Signal Scanning type). To do so:
1. Press the SETUP button on the remote, to open the Setup menu.
2. Using the Navigation button ► select the third icon VIDEO SETUP in the top menu bar and press the PLAY/EN-
TER button to display the menu items.
3. Using the Navigation button ▼ select the menu item TV MODE.
