A Step-by-step Instructions for Easy
Installation
A.1 Importance of Site Survey for Air
Synchronization
A traditional CS receives the clock signal from the connected PBX. Unlike a traditional CS, an IP-CS cannot
receive the clock signal from a PBX, because the IP-CS is connected to a LAN rather than directly to a PBX.
Air synchronization is necessary to send/receive the clock signal between IP-CSs.
An incorrectly performed site survey may cause IP-CSs to reset due to synchronization failure. Therefore, it is
necessary to conduct the site survey and plan the location of IP-CSs with extreme care.
