Notify email Folder
Use the Notify email folder to setup unit event e-mail notifications through the SMTP server
interface. Events for which notifications are produced include; Power-on, Command Reboot,
Unit Reset. If the parameters for Notify email are not configured, the feature is disabled.
• This information is recorded on the Common Configuration worksheet described in Section
2.2.4 Common Configuration Worksheet of this document, and can also be entered for
selected unit groups using the Edit Data/Edit Common Configuration items on the Unit
menu. See Section 4.8 for the procedure using the Common Configuration facility in the
Maintenance Console Software.
Use the Information section to enter up to two SMTP server IP addresses and up to two E-mail
address to which event notifications will be sent.

Type the IP address of the primary SMTP server. The IP address must
conform to Internet Protocol addressing requirements, e.g.
nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn, where nnn = a value of 0 to 255 excluding 0.0.0.0 and
255.255.255.255.
