To configure a port, select the port in the Port parameters list and configure each of the fields
provided in the area beneath the list.
Trunk Group
Use the pull-down list to select the Trunk Group number with which the port will be associated.
In the sample above, all of the ports are configured as members of Trunk Group 1.
Delete Digits
Type the number of digits to be deleted from the dialled number when calling this Trunk.
The maximum number of Delete Digits is 32.
This parameter should normally be set to "0".
Length of Call Reference
Set to "1" all the time.
Interface Type
Set to "Basic Interface" all the time.
PAD In
Use the pull-down list to select the PAD value (in dB) to be applied to voice signals coming
into the unit.
It is usually best to use the default value for this field until it is determined by observation, that
adjustments are required.
PAD Out
Use the pull-down list to select the PAD value (in dB) to be applied to voice signals going out
from the unit.
It is usually best to use the default value for this field until it is determined by observation, that
adjustments are required.
DTMF detect
Use the pull-down list to select the DTMF detection method to be used by the unit; No (ne),
Incoming, Outgoing, or Both.
It is recommended that this be set to Outgoing.
