Sending i-mode mail/Sending SMS
Sending i-mode mail
Only by subscribing to i-mode, mails can be
exchanged not only with docomo terminals but
also with anyone who has an Internet mail
address such as other company's mobile phone/
smartphone or a PC.
You can attach up to 10 files and up to 2 MB of files
(image, moving picture, etc.) in total. And, Deco-
mail is supported so that you can easily send
expressive emails by using Deco-mail pictograms/
Deco-mail pictures and changing text color, size or
back ground, etc.

When sending is completed correctly, the mail
is automatically saved in a folder of Outbox.
Point
Adding addresses : On the mail creation screen, select
"<No address>"
Attachments
You can attach up to 10 files and up to 2 MB of
image or moving picture/i-motion, etc. in total.

Point
Sending an attachment file of a big size may take
time. After sending such file, a lot of mail in folders
of Outbox may be deleted.

Sending SMS

When you do not know receiver's mail address, you
can send a text message to mobile phone number
instead of the mail address.
SMS can be also sent to or received from the
parties using overseas service providers. For
countries and overseas network operators
available, refer to "Mobile Phone User's Guide
[International Services]" or DOCOMO
International Services website.

Point
When there is an incoming SMS, FOMA terminal
operates in the same way as an incoming i-mode
mail.
